Summer C’s Campaign: Mental Health & Wellness for Cayman’s Youth

The Summer C’s Campaign is a collaborative effort led by the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) in partnership with the Alex Panton Foundation and numerous government ministries, departments, and non-profit organisations across the Cayman Islands. This summer-long campaign aims to promote positive mental health and wellbeing for children and young adults, aged 12–25, during the school holiday months.

Running from 1 July to 31 August 2025, the campaign delivers a full calendar of free mental health events, resources, and support services to help youth stay connected, supported, and engaged during what can often be a vulnerable time.

Why “Summer C’s”?

The campaign is built around five pillars of youth mental wellbeing:
Connection, Compassion, Coping, Community, and Care.

Each event and resource is designed to empower youth, families, and caregivers with tools to strengthen emotional wellbeing, build resilience, and access the support they need.

What’s Happening This Summer?

From workshops and peer support groups to youth socials and educational sessions, our curated Summer C’s Calendar of Events is based on real feedback from Cayman’s youth, gathered during the 2024 Inspire Youth Event. The calendar includes both virtual and in-person events facilitated by trained professionals and community leaders.

A few highlights include:

  • SNAP Summer Camp (July 8–18)

  • Beyond the Islands: The Realities of Being an Overseas Student (July 19)

  • APF Teen Talk & Breaking Barriers Peer Support Groups

  • Child Safety Matters & Teen Safety Matters Workshops

  • APF Vibe Check Wellness Event (August 23)
