Breaking Barriers

We invite young adults ages 18 – 30 to join our peer-led Breaking Barriers support group. This is a safe environment for those struggling with stress and mental health difficulties.
 
This event is FREE to attend, with no commitment required and takes place every Saturday from 12:30pm – 2:00pm at the George Town Public Library, on 3rd floor in the Breakout room.
 
Free gift vouchers available to attendees from community sponsors and light snacks & beverages will be provided.

About the Facilitator

Facilitator: Shane Purcell

Shane Purcell is a trained facilitator who has previously worked with the Irish mental health support group ‘Aware’. He has facilitated support and self-care groups in St. James hospital in Ireland and is excited about using his extensive experience to facilitate this peer-led support group in Cayman.

About the Venue

Venue: George Town Public Library

We are incredibly grateful to the George Town Public Library for allowing us to use their space. Our support group will take place on the 3rd floor in the Breakout room.
